I have one lovely customer recently telling me about how she has been making lotions and a few topical tonics from our teas, so I thought I'd put together a list of both her recipes and a few others too. Images have also been provided by our customer too, so they may look a little different to our usual style.

We will most likely be adding recipes here over time so be sure to check back once in awhile or even better - contact us to add your own!

Stinging Nettle - Robyn.M

stinging nettle lotion in bottleIced Tea
"Two heaped tablespoons worth placed within a pot of boiling water. Steep this for several hours and then refrigerate. Drink 3-4 cups daily.
This is also excellent when used topically with cotton balls or makeup remover cloths. They will take the sting out of dry itchy rashes."

Lotion
"Place a couple of tablespoons of dried nettle in a glass screw top jar and fill with a cup of olive oil. Leave in a sunny spot for a week, shaking the jar daily. Strain into a clean jar and label.  Good for lotions and salves using any dried herb." (This lotion would be a great natural solution for itchy skin and rashes as mentioned above too - Toby)
