Oolong is a modern interpretation of classic Taiwanese craft: Fresh oolong leaves are lightly oxidized and placed in low-oxygen (nitrogen-rich) chambers to increase GABA content naturally.

The result is a soft, medium cup with a collected character - honeyed grain, baked stone fruit and a toasty sweetness that lasts well after the sip.

No added flavours.

The depth is only obtained by cultivating and processing. Brew light for a bright, fruity lift, or push the time a little for more caramel and sweet potato notes.

For those who enjoy tea, GABA Oolong is a popular choice late in the afternoon or evening - a mildly brewed tea with moderate caffeine content between green and black tea.

Brewing

Western style (mug/pot)

2 to 3 grams (1 level tsp) per 250 ml.

85-90 degC water

3-4 minutes, then taste. You can stop eating earlier for a lighter body.

Re-steep: 3-4 times; each round lasting 30-45 seconds.

Gongfu style (teapot/gaiwan)

5-7 g per 100-120 ml.

90-95 degC water

If desired, quick rinse, 10-20 seconds. Increase slowly by 6-8 infusions.

Iced / cold brew

8-10 grams of cold, filtered water per 1-liter of liquid.

Cool for 6-8 hours; strain; freeze. holds sweetness without bitterness
