Decaf Cranberry green tea: a fruity take on mild Green Tea for those moments when you need lift without the late-night high.

Most caffeine is removed from the base leaf in a food-safe process while the tender sweetness and fresh gardeny character are preserved. That soft green canvas holds cranberry: a tart ruby-red accent gives sparkle and a clean finish without going lolly.

Expect a pale straw to blue infusion (deeper with hibiscus and rosehip blends), quick to refresh hot, and delectably thirsty on ice. The green tea is handled at lower temperatures so it is silky and the fruit reads clean and vivid instead of jammy.

It's reachable for afternoon resets, a light companion for salads and seafood and an evening brew for the caffeine-challenged. Make a cucumber-berry snap by brewing it cool and short: Stretch the time a bit and you'll get honeyed notes beneath the cranberry tart.

Brewing

Western style (mug/pot)

2-3 g/1 level tsp per 250 mL.

95 degC water

3 - 4 minutes, then taste; Longer steep creates pudding like sweetness.

Re-steep: 1-2 times; Add 45-60 sec per round.

Gongfu style (gaiwan/teapot)

5-6 g/100 -120 ml.

95 degC water

The first infusion should be 10-15 sec; extend slowly over 3-5 infusions (vanilla softens across rounds)

Iced / cold brew

5-8 g/L cold filtered water.

Refrigerate for 6-8 hrs, strain. For a latte: Cold brew and topped with chilled milk.
