Marigold has been used for centuries as a medicinal herb. With a high level of flavonoids, this herb and it's anti-oxidants help the body to protect cells from damaged caused by oxidation.

This herb has a range of known healing properties such as helping clear up a variety of skin diseases like eczema, juvenile acne and dry phthiriasis. Also known to help with cramps associated with menstruation.

Calendula is known to be well-tolerated, even for people with sensitive skin. However, you should avoid marigold products if you have a known allergy to ragweed, daisies, chrysanthemums, chamomile, echinacea and other plants in the same family as marigolds.

For women who are pregnant or breast-feeding, little is known about the effects of calendula, so it’s best to get your doctor’s advice before taking any internally or using extract on the skin.

Aroma: Softly floral & mildly herbal with light green notes.
Taste: Mild and lightly bitter with floral sweetness and clean herbal character.
Mouthfeel: Light and smooth with no heaviness on the palate.
Finish: Fine finish with mild floral/herbal notes lingering.
Liquor colour: Pale yellow - light golden orange.

But What is Marigold Tea?
The dried petals of marigold flowers are traditionally drunk as a mild floral infusion with a bright colour.

Is it caffeinated?
No - it contains no caffeine.

Are there added flavours or sugars?
No. It contains pure marigold petals without flavours, colours or sweeteners.

Does it get reheated?
YES - reheat gently if pre-brewed - avoid boiling. It may also be cooled. Refrigerate immediately and consume within 24 hours.

How do I store it, and how long does it keep?
Keep cool, dry, and away from light. Best within 18-24 months for peak color and aroma, but suitable beyond this time if stored well.

How much is shipping?

Couriers Please Shipping is $5.95 for orders under $60 and free for all orders over $60.

Australia Post is always at cost. Orders going to Po Box or Parcel Locker address may be locked in to Australia Post.

What are your transit times?

We dispatch within 24-48 hours (sometimes much faster) and from there we'll see 1-3 days transit to most metro locations within Australia excluding WA and NT which can take a week or so.

We also offer express post which will help speed up the process, at cost with no handling fees. These are always sent as priority and packed first.

Are your teas certified organic?

Up until recently we were certified organic but due to rising administration costs and the difficulty of maintaining certification we've put this on hold for now. Our suppliers and farms remain the same without any change but just now label things are organic, pesticide free or wildcrafted.

This also allows us to maintain our current pricing without any increases which we feel is more important at this time.
