Dandelion Tea

Hand Roasted in-house!

Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) is widely used to maintain proper liver function, which comes in handy if you're using prescription medication which has side effects involving the liver. It is also commonly used as a coffee replacement/substitute.

Dandelion also contains vitamins A, C, D, B Complex, iron, magnesium, zinc, potassium, manganese, choline, calcium and boron. Due to being a diuretic with anti water retention properties, this tea is also good against constipation, promotes healthy bacterica in the digestive tract, and should be consumed about three times daily to aid with the above.

Drinking tea, specifically dandelion tea, can easily be one of the most relaxing parts of your day. If you have had a stressful day, sitting back with a warm cup of tea can help you take a deep breath and begin to unwind. Conversely, beginning your day with a cup of tea can encourage you to get up and start your day on a positive note.

If you have never tried dandelion tea before, you are missing out on a delicious experience. Not only does this type of tea provide you with a soothing experience, but there are also multiple health benefits associated with drinking it.

One of the questions that we receive from our clients regarding this tea is associated with the taste. Dandelion tea is made with a combination of different parts of the dandelion plant. Once these parts are brewed, the result is an earthy yet sweet tea. The best way to make dandelion tea is by simmering two teaspoons of herbs in a saucepan and letting it steep in a covered heated pot of water for about 40 minutes. If you need a faster option, you can bring a pot of water to a boil and steep the tea for roughly two minutes.

Many people commonly look over the great benefits associated with incorporating dandelion tea into your diet. Unfortunately, some potential customers think that a dandelion is just an annoying weed that he or she needs to pull out of their lawn. The reality, however, is that there are fantastic advantages to drinking dandelion tea.
If you struggle with a sensitive digestion system, drinking one or two cups of dandelion tea can help to ease the discomfort of stomach cramps and other digestive issues. There is an anti-inflammatory component of dandelion tea that soothes your stomach.

Our team enjoys providing our customers with a variety of tea options that will suit their individual needs. If your tea of choice is dandelion tea, remember that you can customise your order to ensure that you receive the total amount of tea that you want.
