Pawpaw Leaf, also known in some countries as Papaya - is known to be quite the medicinal plant with Papaya Leaf Juice gaining popularity worldwide. We'll get right in to the benefits here as there's quite a lot:

This leaf is rich in Papain, which are known to improve digestive health and may help prevent constipation also. Contained within are also certain enzymes that help break down carbohydrates, minerals and proteins.
Can aid in the regeneration of platelets and white blood cells, which in turn can help prevent cold and flu.

Skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and acne may see some improvement with the use of this leaf due to the over 50 types of amino acids contained within.

And finally, Karpain is also a component of the Pawpaw Leaf which is known to be great for hair health and removing grime and oil from the scalp if used as a tincture.

  1. Add one teaspoon of the pawpaw to a cup of boiling water.
  2. Strain for 5 minutes. Strain and drink as recommended. Honey is optional.

Taste Profile

Aroma: It is mildly grassy and earthy with tropical undertones.

Taste: Slightly bitter and herbal, like green tea, but more earthy. This gives way to a light vegetal sweetness as it cools.

Mouthfeel: It is clean and medium-bodied with a slight astringency.

Finish: Dry & refreshing with a faintly sweet, leafy aftertaste.

Liquor Colour: Pale golden-green.

Lovely With: Some honey or lemon to balance the bitterness.

YES - reheat gently if pre-brewed - avoid boiling. You may also enjoy it cold; refrigerate promptly and consume it within 24 hours.

How do I store it, and how long does it keep?
Close tightly, keep cool, dry, and away from light. Eaten within 18-24 months for best flavour and freshness.

How much is shipping?

Couriers Please Shipping is $5.95 for orders under $60 and free for all orders over $60.

Australia Post is always at cost. Orders going to Po Box or Parcel Locker address may be locked in to Australia Post.

What are your transit times?

We dispatch within 24-48 hours (sometimes much faster) and from there we'll see 1-3 days transit to most metro locations within Australia excluding WA and NT which can take a week or so.

We also offer express post which will help speed up the process, at cost with no handling fees. These are always sent as priority and packed first.

Are there any discounts available?

We're quite generous with our loyalty programs, and the best way to take advantage of them is to create an account here. Also if you subscribe to our newsletter you'll gain access to members only discounts, rewards and an initial 10% off first order.

Are your teas certified organic?

Up until recently we were certified organic but due to rising administration costs and the difficulty of maintaining certification we've put this on hold for now. Our suppliers and farms remain the same without any change but just now label things are organic, pesticide free or wildcrafted.

This also allows us to maintain our current pricing without any increases which we feel is more important at this time.
