Decaf Rose green tea: a petal-laced, evening-friendly take on classic Green Tea. The leaf is decaffeinated gently to remove most caffeine while keeping the spring-green character of the tea - mild umami, light sweetness and clean finish.

Decaf via c02 method.

Rose is added as a traditional scenting (layering fresh blossoms with tea so the leaf takes aroma) or by combining petals with natural rose flavour. a fragrance that lifts instead of dominates.

The liquor is pale straw-gold and very silky in the cup. The flavour is clean and transparent when brewed cool: Think dewy rose & honeyed notes with a subtle vegetal underpinning.

Over ice it is especially refreshing - fragrant without syrupiness - and needs little or no sweetener. It's decaf so it's good for people who want to avoid late-day stimulation and for anyone who wants a mellow cup after dinner.

Pair it with fruit, simple biscuits or light savouries where the floral top notes can shine. Decaf Rose Green Tea is about balance: keep the clearness of the leaf while adding a delicate bouquet for a composed, fragrant tea ritual any time of day.

Brewing

Western style (mug/pot)

2-3 g/1 level tsp per 250 mL.

75-80 degC water

2 minutes 1 1 / 2 -2 minutes; Taste & stop early for more delicacy.

Re-steep: 2-3 times; Add 30 sec each round.

Gongfu style (gaiwan/teapot)

4-6 g/100 -120 ml.

75-80 degC water

5-10 sec for first infusion add 3-5 sec to each of 5-7 infusions (florals soften slowly).

Iced / cold brew

5-8 g / L cold filtered water.

Refrigerate 4-6 hrs; strain. For a spritz, top a cold-brew concentrate with sparkling water.
