Hyssop Tea

Tea Description

Hyssop, (Hyssopus officinalis) has been studied as a herbal tea for centuries with a flavour similar to that of Mint, is still popular today due to antibacterial properties and the ability to heal coughs and colds.
This herb is particularly good at treating internal infections, breaking up phlegm, and relieving scratchiness associated with sore throats.

Australian grown with love, from organic Australian suppliers.

Health Benefits

Hyssop is tried and true for...

  • Sore throats
  • Internal anti-inflammatory

How to brew Hyssop Tea

2-3g per serving, bring water to near boil and steep for 5 minutes.
After preparing the tea, you can enjoy hyssop tea two or three times per day.

Hyssop Tea Known Side Effects

Instances of seizures and vomiting have been known to occur and have previously been reported, especially when hyssop is taken at high dosages. Convulsions are known to occur because of the ketone pino-camphone that is present in the essential oil. For this reason, it is highly recommended to avoid using hyssop in any way in patients who have epilepsy or pregnancy.

most refreshing green tea

Fantastic green tea, delicate, non bitter and refreshing. Finally a green that doesn't get bitter when left to brew beyond the recommended time of 1-3 minutes. The add of the medicinal herbs makes it a nice aid in liver detoxification, digestion and overall GI tract soother. Fantastic.
