Relaxing Lavender Blue Tea

1. Add around 1 level tablespoon to strainer in hot water.
2. Steep for 3-4 minutes with the cup covered.
3. Milk or sugar not recommended.

Lavender
May enhance relaxation; decrease stress/anxiety.
This is traditionally used to aid with sleep and nervous tension.
May ease mild digestive discomfort such as bloating & gas.

St. John's Wort
Commonly used to treat mild to moderate depression symptoms.
May support mood & emotional balance.
Possesses anti-inflammatory/antiviral potential.

The Blue Peaflower (Clitoria ternatea)
High in antioxidants especially the anthocyanins which may benefit skin and cognitive health.

Can help with calming and mild anxiety.
Used mainly for vision and hair strength.

Damiana
The herb is usually used as a mood enhancer.
May help with hormonal balance & ease PMS or mild depression symptoms.
Used sometimes to promote relaxation and mild digestive relief.

St. John's Wort
It's known to have interaction with many drugs including antidepressants, birth control pills, anticoagulants, as well as immunosuppressants.

Increases the sensitivity to sunlight (photosensitivity).
Not to be used in combination with prescription antidepressants due to serotonin syndrome risk.

Lavender
They are generally well tolerated although large doses can make you drowsy.
Not advised in high dose in pregnancy or breast feeding, as safety data is limited.

Blue Peaflower
Moderate doses are safe, but high doses lower blood sugar-watch out for people with diabetes or taking blood sugar-lowering medications.

Damiana
May affect blood sugars and hormones; Prevent use while pregnant, breastfeeding or taking hormone-related medications.
At high doses it causes insomnia or mild hallucinations in sensitive people.
