Strawberry Sunset Fruit Tea

A ripe, summer tisane reminiscent of the last light of a strawberry patch. Strawberry slices lead with juicy sweetness, apple lends an orchard note and roselle gives a ruby tingle to the cup.

A clean floral lift is provided by delicate jasmine blossoms that give the finish something more than sugary. All of the infusions pour a pink-red liquor with notes of warm strawberries and fresh petals.

It's naturally caffeine-free and great for all-day sipping - as comfortable as an evening mug or a bright afternoon cooler. Serve hot for dessert-style tea, or over ice for a bubbly spritzer base, or cold brewed for a low-acid, fruity sip.

Brewing

Hot brew: 1-2 tsp (3-5 g) in 250 ml. Water 95-100degC. Soak for 5 mins, then strain.
Iced brew: 8-10 g/500 ml hot water - steep 8-10 minutes - strain over ice - if desired.
Cold brew: 10-12 g per 1 L cold water, cover and refrigerate for 6-8 hours, strain. Adapt strength to taste.

Health Benefits

Antioxidant support - roselle with anthocyanins and strawberry with apple with polyphenols against oxidative stress.

Gentle digestion support - roselle's light tartness after meals may be cleansing, and jasmine is traditionally used to induce relaxation.

Cautionary Notes

Roselle lowers blood pressure and affects blood sugar - monitor slightly if you take antihypertensive or diabetes medicines.

Pregnancy & breastfeeding - usually a food-like blend, but hibiscus is cautioned during pregnancy. Ask for personalised advice before regular usage.

Reflux/sensitive stomach - fruity acidity can worsen heartburn - milder brew, a little honey, or cold brew for sensitive stomach.

Allergic - strawberry and apple - may cause oral-allergy symptoms in some pollen sensitives; stop if you experience a reaction. Jasmine flower allergies are rare but possible.

YES - reheat gently if pre-brewed - avoid boiling. You may also enjoy it cold; refrigerate promptly and consume it within 24 hours.

How do I store it, and how long does it keep?
Close tightly, keep cool, dry, and away from light. Best consumed within 18-24 months for best colour and flavour.

How much is shipping?

Couriers Please Shipping is $5.95 for orders under $60 and free for all orders over $60.

Australia Post is always at cost. Orders going to Po Box or Parcel Locker address may be locked in to Australia Post.

What are your transit times?

We dispatch within 24-48 hours (sometimes much faster) and from there we'll see 1-3 days transit to most metro locations within Australia excluding WA and NT which can take a week or so.

We also offer express post which will help speed up the process, at cost with no handling fees. These are always sent as priority and packed first.

Are there any discounts available?

We're quite generous with our loyalty programs, and the best way to take advantage of them is to create an account here. Also if you subscribe to our newsletter you'll gain access to members only discounts, rewards and an initial 10% off first order.

Are your teas certified organic?

Up until recently we were certified organic but due to rising administration costs and the difficulty of maintaining certification we've put this on hold for now. Our suppliers and farms remain the same without any change but just now label things are organic, pesticide free or wildcrafted.

This also allows us to maintain our current pricing without any increases which we feel is more important at this time.
