Brewing

To make tea of the Earl Grey variety, you will need to ensure that the tea maintains its strong flavour and citrusy notes. Follow the procedure below:

Water temperature: Bring your water to around 90-95°C (194-203°F) as this will also help to bring out the black tea and bergamot flavour.

Steeping time: Place 1 teaspoon of tea leaves in your teapot or infuse it in a strainer for an approximate duration of 3-5 minutes depending on how strong you like your tea.

Enhancements: While Earl Grey tea comes with excellent taste, you can always add a splash of milk or a dash of honey or lemon to further enhance the taste and give the bright citrus aroma. A kind of tea that is made stronger with milk is called Earl Grey latte and you can try this also.

Brewed tea option: To make iced tea, prepare the tea as usual, let it cool down, and pour over ice cubes. Enhance the iced tea’s cooling effects with slices of fresh lemons or mint leaves for a zesty infusion.

How much is shipping?

Couriers Please Shipping is $5.95 for orders under $60 and free for all orders over $60.

Australia Post is always at cost. Orders going to Po Box or Parcel Locker address may be locked in to Australia Post.

What are your transit times?

We dispatch within 24-48 hours (sometimes much faster) and from there we'll see 1-3 days transit to most metro locations within Australia excluding WA and NT which can take a week or so.

We also offer express post which will help speed up the process, at cost with no handling fees. These are always sent as priority and packed first.

Are your teas certified organic?

Up until recently we were certified organic but due to rising administration costs and the difficulty of maintaining certification we've put this on hold for now. Our suppliers and farms remain the same without any change but just now label things are organic, pesticide free or wildcrafted.

This also allows us to maintain our current pricing without any increases which we feel is more important at this time.
