Ginseng has a few different variants, with this one being the prized Korean Ginseng (Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer). Used for many centuries and perhaps millennia for a range of conditions ranging from low energy, immune system, fertility and even more spiritual uses.

Known as an adaptogen, which are substances that can stimulate and give your body practice against stressors.

Studies also show that Korean Ginseng can help with male erectile disfunction. Also known to increase response to secual stimuli in both males and females.

Can improve cognitive function in adults, but no evidence to support within young adults. Can reduce the risk of cold or flu.

Aroma: Strong, earthy & slightly sweet with warming herbal depth.

Taste: Very bittersweet with earthy, woody notes balanced by natural sweetness.

Mouthfeel: Medium-sized, warming, invigorating with a slightly drying finish.

Finish: It has an earthy bitterness with a soft sweet finish.

Liquor colour: Light amber-gold.

Lovely with: It is best enjoyed alone for its character or with honey for sweetness. Serve with light savoury snacks or plain rice dishes.

The root of Panax Ginseng is a bitter-sweet herbal infusion traditionally consumed in East Asia, called Korean ginseng tea.

Is it caffeinated?
Nope - it's a herbal infusion and caffeine-free.

Are there added flavours or sugars?
Pure Korean ginseng Tea contains only Ginseng root. Some commercial varieties include sweeteners or flavourings - double check the ingredients list.

Does it get reheated?
If pre-brewed, reheat gently, but do not boil the once brewed. It may be chilled as well. Unless refrigerated, consume within 24 hours.

How do I store it, and how long does it keep?
Keep the container in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Eaten between 18 and 24 months before use for maximum freshness and flavor.

How much is shipping?

Couriers Please Shipping is $5.95 for orders under $60 and free for all orders over $60.

Australia Post is always at cost. Orders going to Po Box or Parcel Locker address may be locked in to Australia Post.

What are your transit times?

We dispatch within 24-48 hours (sometimes much faster) and from there we'll see 1-3 days transit to most metro locations within Australia excluding WA and NT which can take a week or so.

We also offer express post which will help speed up the process, at cost with no handling fees. These are always sent as priority and packed first.

Are there any discounts available?

We're quite generous with our loyalty programs, and the best way to take advantage of them is to create an account here. Also if you subscribe to our newsletter you'll gain access to members only discounts, rewards and an initial 10% off first order.

Are your teas certified organic?

Up until recently we were certified organic but due to rising administration costs and the difficulty of maintaining certification we've put this on hold for now. Our suppliers and farms remain the same without any change but just now label things are organic, pesticide free or wildcrafted.

This also allows us to maintain our current pricing without any increases which we feel is more important at this time.
