Jasmine Flower Bud Tea

1. Bring water almost to boil, 80c is best.
2. Steep for 2-3 minutes within strainer. Buds will rise to the top without strainer and make it difficult to drink!
3. Honey is optional, milk not recommended.

Calming and Stress-Relieving
In traditional herbal medicine jasmine flower tea is used to uplift the mood.

Aroma & mild sedation may decrease anxiety/stress/restlessness.

Sleep Support
It is usually drunk in the evening to promote relaxation and quality sleep, and doesn't contain caffeine.

Inhalation of the steam or drinking the infusion could relieve cough, dryness of throat or mild respiratory irritation.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
While generally considered mild, concentrated amounts (such as in medicinal infusions) are not advised during pregnancy without professional advice, as the flower has been associated with uterine stimulation.

People breastfeeding should also use sparingly unless cleared by a health professional.

Allergic Reactions
Uncommon, but some people may be allergic to jasmine or another flowering herb and experience skin itching or mild respiratory symptoms.
