Common Questions

But What is Peach Gum?
The natural resin found on the bark of wild peach trees (Prunus persica) is prized in East Asia as a delicacy and brewed as a tea or dessert ingredient.

Is it caffeinated?
Yes - peach gum has no caffeine.

Are there added flavours or sugars?
No, it is just the hardened resin from peach trees. Check the ingredients list for confirmation.

Does it get reheated?
It can be reheated gently once it is prepared and softened. For a pre-brewed version, refrigerate immediately and consume within 24 hours.

How do I store it, and how long does it keep?
Store airtight, dry, away from light and moisture in an airtight container. Dried peach gum pieces last years if stored properly.

Peach Gum Tea 100g - Medium
I wasn’t sure if this would work but it helped me modulate my gut and I am using it in small doses every other day. It seems to be rebuilding my gut along with Bee pollen

Peach Gum Tea 50g - Small
First I steeped gum in just hot water overnight. Result was still rather chewy & not very tasty. Next batch, I covered the 1 teaspoon gum with about 2 tablespoon fresh squeezed lemon juice, added about 2 tablespoon cold water for gum to absorb it overnight. In the morning I added enough hot water to make it a hot drink. That worked... very nice flavour & soft jelly.

Peach Gum Tea 50g - Small
I didn't know what to expect from the peach gum tea. I'm so glad it had instructions. I soaked it overnight and had it the next day and it was like a homemade (almost) boba! I have since experimented it and made milk tea with it. I bought the biggest size three days later because this small packet didn't last.
