Our Siberian Chaga Mushroom tea is an extremely prized type of mushroom native to a few countries, yet interestingly - only those grown on the Birch Wood tree (and the colder the climate, the better) have any real medicinal value. For more reading on this, please see our article here. Please note we also have many other blends still containing 95% chaga here.
Our Chaga originally arrives to us in Chunks and is then cut down in-house to a more manageable size for tea.
This Chaga gathered in the Northern Urals. The nearest settlement is 200 km away, with no anthropogenic impact. Nearby is the Dyatlov pass. This is sourced from a very small family business in the heart of Siberia.
This is genuine Siberian Chaga Mushroom only using the first and second layers of the mushroom, not artificially grown, and picked hundreds of kilometers from populated areas in a harshly cold climate.

Chaga Mushroom Tea FAQS
What are the health benefits of chaga mushroom tea?
Whilst further studies are needed for accurate information, it is said that drinking Chaga Mushroom Tea regularly can help to lower cholesterol, slow the growth of cancers, support the immune system, and even reduce blood pressure. (Source: https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/318527#summary)
One of the biggest benefits of chaga mushroom tea is its high antioxidant levels. The presence of these chemicals helps prevent any cell damage that takes place due to free radicals or oxidants in the body.
What happens when you drink chaga tea every day?
A cup or two of chaga mushroom tea every single day can be hugely beneficial to the body. You might find yourself catching fewer colds or having lower blood pressure. However, as with many holistic healthcare options, overconsumption of chaga tea can cause more harm than good.
Consuming vast amounts of chaga mushroom tea can mean that the body has to process excess levels of magnesium and potassium, which can put pressure on the liver and kidneys. Of course, if you have any concerns, it is best practice to consult with your doctor before trying any new kinds of holistic medicine.
How long does it take for chaga tea to work?
As with anything, results can take time. It is also really important to commit to regular tea drinking if you’re serious about improving your health through drinking chaga mushroom tea. It is suggested that you consume around 2000mg per day in the first few weeks and wait at least three weeks before seeing any measurable results.
If you are completely new to your chaga journey, then some people do suggest consuming a larger dose to begin with. However, that is not necessary and will not speed up the benefits, as it is regular consumption that helps and not the consumption of chaga mushroom tea in vast quantities.
Is it better to drink Chaga tea in the morning or at night?
Even though Chaga Mushroom tea is caffeine-free, it is still a fantastic source of energy. Therefore, whether you consume your daily cup of chaga in the morning or at night is entirely up to you.
Many tea enthusiasts enjoy tracking their energy levels and timing their daily cup of chaga mushroom tea with an energetic low point for themselves. For many of us, that low point is in the mid-afternoon, so that is always a good place to start if you’d like to give yourself a little boost to get through that last hour at work.
What is the best form of chaga to take?
Since chaga has become so much more popular, you can easily purchase it as a powder, extract or herbal tea. However, not many people know that it is much easier for the body to absorb the benefits of Chaga Mushroom Tea when it has been dissolved in hot water.
